Hey Chris, as long as it's all sealed up, that's all that really counts..
Hammertone or black wrinkle paint would help out in the looks department..
Welding that thin stuff can be really tedious..

It is especially tedious after you grind the welds and have to leak check it again! Lol

Body work. I hate bodywork, but since I had already paid the shop in advance to do all the body and paint my budget is blown big time. They went out of business before they even got 2 good days into the project - they had the car for over 3 years.
I finally got enough space cleared in my shop to do the work.
I'm working on reassembling and fitting the doors today. GT40's are tough cars to work on since the tops of the doors make up roughly half of the roof.

Did you gas weld that? MIG would have been a chore with something that small and close together.
Still Not bad. All it has to do is hold back a little pressure...
