Drove to Portsmouth, NH yesterday going up 495 was just one parking lot after another. Same going home in the afternoon. Stopped for diesel on the way home in MA and paid $3.13 per gal. not bad compared to $3.42 on the Berlin Turnpike in Newington.
Yup, Connecticut hase the highest fuel prices in the nation. Gas is $2.45/gal at the Pilot in Sturbridge. That place is about 10 miles from the house and where we normally fill up.

One thing I don't understand, I camp over at Charlie Brown campground in Eastford, CT a stones throw from you and a lot of the seasonal people live up there and still by fuel in CT when MA is so close. I drive to Sturbridge from Newington to get my diesel. But I have to admit I will stop at the Admirals restaurant or the barbecue pit when we are there.
