chow can i make blinkers go on off, on off
not on, brighter on, on, brighter on?
i have seen cars signaling that the turn light goes on off, on off and it stands out and looks safer that my 06 SD front signal that have the park light on all the time at night and then flash brighter for turning
i know it can be done with LED's but would like to explore having the OEM bulbs do the same thing
thanks

You could do this:
1. Cut all 3 wires going to the parking/turn lamp.
2. Connect the wire going to the turn signal side of the bulb to the wire that would normally power the parking lamp.
3. Connect the ground wire coming from the bulb to the wire that would normally power the turn signal.
4. Leave the ground wire on the vehicle side and the parking lamp wire on the bulb side disconnected.
5. Repeat on other side.
Hooked up this way, the bright side of the bulb will be illuminated when the parking lights are on and it will flash on/off with the turn signals.
Alternatively, I would just install auxiliary lamps, such as a set of LED warning lights, to flash on/off with the turn signals rather than modify the factory lighting. I have a set of these on the rear of my truck, mounted on my headache rack. They come on with my brake/turn/hazard lights, and not with the tail lights. (I just wired them in to the trailer harness)

kdOaxs that sounds close to what i want and a pretty easy way to do it
also do u think the bulb would be pretty bright with just the bright side lit or would i need to try to have both filaments powered
also wondering if there would be any other issues like overheating the fixture from having the bright filament or bright and regular filament on most of the time and if the bulb would burn out real fast cause its possibly not meant for being on so much
