We had my side of the family's party at my niece's house Saturday night. Boiled up 20 lbs. of shrimp, and drank ourselves silly. Nice having a teenager designated driver to get us home!!

I got to watch the damn Chiefs lose yesterday. ug.

I guess - according to my FB feed - that win yesterday put the Steelers in the playoffs for sure. Not that I really care.

I went and looked up the scenarios, for kicks...it looks like Baltimore is out. I gotta laugh at that one, since I have so many friends who live in Ravens country and they yell about how great they are all the time....lol.

The eagles are out now, too. very disappointing year, but oh well. just a game. too many people around here take it too seriously.

There's guys out there already talking about the 2015 Draft. The season's not even over yet.

I gave up on the NFL because of all of the issues with guys beating dogs and wives, raping women, and still getting to play because they are star players. But there's people around me who if their mother was sick during a game they'd tell her to let them alone until the game was over. Way, way too serious about something that's just entertainment.

No, that's the "People without lives" club.....LOL

Bill, I don't follow the NFL very much. I was soured by the strike in the 80's. That whole thing just kind of turned me off. Now, college ball is a whole other story.....

Yeah, the strikes didn't help me much either as far as staying a fan.

I was curiously looking at tickets for next week's final game against Cincinnati. Nosebleed country in Heinz Field is going for $155, and some lower bowl seats going for over $1000. I can buy truck parts for that price...no thanks.

What? You don't want to pay a measly 155 bucks to freeze your *** off, drink over-priced beer, and need bincoculars to see anything?

LOL
