51° on Christmas eve is very doable.

Suppose to rain here with maybe flurries late.

 

you're right, no complaints here. we have had two dumps of volcanic ash so far and the second one is almost gone on the south facing hills. Forcast is for a decent winter, I hope they are right for a change. However, my driveway is still mostly a skating rink!

 

No white crap here yet but 40° right now with a Southerly breeze.

 

That's my kind of winter. Kind of glad it is cold for some reasons. The war dept. wants a little addition to the house and it just isn't the time of year. Maybe I can come up with another good reason come good weather too!

 

House training a new puppy will be tough in the Winter.

 

It's not easy in the summer months!

 

Our last dog was smart, didn't like the cold. I wouldn't like having to go outside and crap in the cold and snow, so I don't blame the dog.

 

I didn't use to mind it when I had enough pressure to write my name but now my feet get wet.

 

Those days are long gone Steve. Kind of hard pulling 2" far enough to keep from getting the drawers wet.

 

One of the facts of life you would have never believed years ago!
