New Member F250
Good morning guys, I'm a new member who just purchased a 2011 F250 Lariat with the camper package and FX4 offroad package. I have been lurking here since I got the truck, just learning from the experts and long time owners.
I recently replaced the stock radio with a Kenwood receiver because the Sync system was broken and I didn't realize it when I bought it. I found out that this is common and none of the resets worked so I just upgraded.
The truck has a B&W gooseneck hitch already installed, but I'll be hauling a large toy hauler, but luckily they make a 5th Wheel Companion that slides right into the existing hole so that's a no brainer.
Now with my existing problem. The truck has always bounced a bit when hitting a bump but I thought nothing of it. Coming home yesterday I hit a bump at 60 and the dreaded "Death Wobble" ensued. I had to slow down to about 40 to get it to stop. FYI, I have about 77k miles on the truck. After some research I decided to go with the Rancho 9000XL adjustable shocks front and rear, and the dual steering stabilizer. Most report that this fixes the problem so I'm hopeful. If not, it's a nice upgrade and I'll go from there.
