BW1356 questions...
Hey guys, in my attempt to just buy a decent F150, bronco, ranger to put my truck down to start the 400 swap. I have ran into pure junk for top dollar, I mean drove 75 miles for a truck with roofing tar all the way around the bottom and old pictures there was more but neither here nor there. So I ended up buying a 95 F150 std cab long bed, frame is in good shape, it is straight, v8 towers, and 4x4. Add the 01 ranger body that I have sitting here and the 351W.
Where I am at now is fresh everything but Tcase, I tore it down bearings feel fine, but over 200k on it I want it to be fresh too, looking around guys saying pump failures and shift forks etc. I put a fresh pump in it tailshaft housing bushing and seal. I have looked around and seen all sorts of crap but what goes bad in these things? what can stay? The shift forks the castings look fine and the bushings but I don't want to overdue it but don't want to miss anything that needs replaced.
