Anyone know any late model superduty junkyards?

When I picked up my dually, the PO had put plastic wood over everything.

All came off ok but the gray panels at each end of the dash that hold the air vents. Some of the finish came off.

Ford wants 200 each..

Any pointers welcomed

Have you considered maybe repainting them or taking them to get hydro-dipped? I'm thinking about taking my two panels by the radio that are wood grained and having them hydro-dipped a gloss black.

Sam you might try searching through Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market I found another set of wheels in Oregon through that site.

I know you're skilled with stuff, so, have you decided not to try an make the finish right by using some kind of bondo filler and just painting the parts?

I would think a light sanding and some interior paint would be fine?

Working the options. At $200 a piece they will get painted.

But I'm sure there are SD's sitting somewhere I could get these.

Sam, I just did a search for a Hood (just to find a Superduty) on Car-Parts.com and found a place in Canton TX that has a 2014 F250. There was another place in Westfield that has an F550, I'm not sure they are the same. If they have hoods they must have the rest of the truck. Lots of F250s in Fl.

A body shop should charge you no more than $50 a piece to paint the existing ones I would think. At least that's what I have been charged when getting some Mustang interior pieces painted of similar size.

Here in the Dallas area there are a couple of them around the outskirts of the metroplex...
do that there google search and here''s some:
http://www.usedpartscentral.com/search_texas.htm

but MOST local 'junk' yards have a locator service and can look up your part for you at other yards and ship them in...

That's what I did when my daughter blew straight through a curved off ramp and dented two NICE lincoln ls rims
