I don't think they are shutting down production for two weeks at the end of December. That would be from tomorrow until New Years. Maybe shortened hours on the 24th closed the 25th but the lost revenue for another two weeks downtime makes no sense. Plus a lot of those workers lost 2 months pay during the re-fit.

The 3.5L Lariat that we drove was Race Red. Loved the truck. Now we are thinking a FX4 Lariat or Platinum will replace our 08 SuperDuty.
When we did our test drive, I drove them like I stole them. The Ford guy loved it, because he said everyone was driving like they were at driving school. I also pounded on the door skins good. You can really tell how much harder it would be to dent them, compared to the steel skins. The skins barely deflected at all. Do the same to a steel skin, and you would risk leaving a dent.

Thanks. Now that we are seeing some of you get them it should be easier to estimate if Ford is under comitting and over delivering on the build schedule.
On another note, I tested a Lariat FX4 today at Bommarito Ford on my way home from traveling. Now mine can't get here fast enough!

100% with you on the tailgate, not into pearl white, too much chrome and a few other things. But the fit, finish, front end and grill and interior almost makes it a shame to work it. I ordered the Rudy Red with the sport package so mine will look just like the guy that walked into the dealer and posted the pics last week.
