So the line for the hydraulic clutch on my 89 F-250 460 broke. I went and purchased new line at the auto parts store and they gave me a metal line set with a fitting to the master cylinder that doesnt look at all like mine. The line on my truck is plastic and doesnt have the big metal fitting. The master cylinder looks almost like this part with the plastic. 1988-1991 Ford F250 Clutch Master Cylinder and Line Assembly - Clutch - Rhino Pac 88-91 F250 Clutch Master Cylinder and Line Assembly - 5328-05359753 - PartsGeek. This master cylinder and line set is for a 5.8 and isnt for the 460. Is it possible that the previous owner put this master and line set on my truck? Or did it come plastic from the factory for 460's and metal is what you get aftermarket? im pretty well confused.
