Rear Door Weatherstrip

Rear Door Weatherstrip
Is anyone else dealing with this? First cold snap, every time I open the rear door after the truck's been sitting, it pulls down the weatherstrip. I was going to use some 3M weatherstrip adhesive but wasn't sure if it would: a)hold in the extreme cold and: b)have more grip than the frost or ice to the door frame.
I also considered using Vaseline on the rubber. Any thoughts?

It does need some new adhesion. You'd also benefit from a bit of lube on the strip where it makes contact with the door. Get a sponge and cut it into a small piece, about 1"x1". Spray lube (silicone, PTFE, Dry lube, etc) onto the sponge piece and wipe it across the weatherstripping. This will help repel water and prevent the strip from sticking to the door frame.
