Swapping out the 3 spd manual on my 1983 F100 with the 300 cu in six. Where can I get the parts needed for the steering column (to show the gear selected and make the link between the steering column and the trans for shifting)?

Will the 3 spd linkage work if I forget about the dash indicator for the gear selected?

Easiest thing for you just get a complete column for a 3 speed automatic.

If your 3 speed column shift worked perfectly, there are a lot of people that would probably buy it from you. They gave a lot of problems apparently, plus they are getting old and hard to find.

Here are some places in Florida that have one that is tilt also.
