autoflex suspension for 2000 E-350 RV superduty
I really need someone who understands suspensions -in sept I installed an autoflex double bag airbag suspension. I need to know if ford made different width axel housings. Nothing is working on this "supposed" bolt on revision. After a number of revisions and over 2 grand for installation--it still is not right, even with the bags completely uninflated and on it's stops the unit still sits higher than when had the original springs on it. The RV is a 2000 22 ft E-350 superduty chassis . I use it to run from northern Indiana to western Arizona and back every year. It has only 30,000 miles on it. My frig has stopped from sitting out of level for 2000 miles. I can't see how it can be lowered. I ordered this kit in sept and finally gave up and cash strapped and left on the 22 of November. No difference in ride or handling and I used more fuel than usual. I heard that ford had 2 sized rear housings in those years but the company should have known this. with the bags inflated to 80lbs the rear sits 6 inchs to high in the rear. Anybody familiar with this setup and have some answers??
