7.3 miss

Hi I'm new here, I'm looking for advice to diagnose a dead miss on 1 cylinder,, I suspect bad injector, but don't have a code reader, what are my options? Thx 99' f450, 7.3. Alan s cabazon ca.

Could be the wiring under the valve cover has come loose. Testing the resistance on those wires is informative and not much work. Click on the link below for a classic thread on the subject.

Could also be a mechanical issue with the injector, or a bad solenoid on it. Swap solenoid with another, say #5, see if problem follows.
