I found a f250 ext cab 1999 5.4 4x4 200k miles. Just for a plow truck since I don't wanna put a plow on the truck I just bought. What do you think? For 1k is it worth jt

 

If it runs reliably, the 4WD works, and passes inspection, $1000 is a good deal. If you can make money with it to boot, that's a great deal.

 

If it is both extended cab and long box, it's not going to be very manueverable with the added length of a plow and mount....
It all depends on what you are plowing. Parking lots - great... Driveways - not so much..

 

$1k sounds like a deal unless its rotted out underneath. if you need inspection in your state, i'd check it out. you could be looking at some bucks to make it legal. but if it is legal and roadworthy and the 4x4 works, $1k is a good price.

 

i don't think it's a coincidence that 90% of the plow trucks around here are super duties..
