Wouldn't a shipper take care of that?

Usually the shipper doesn't get involved with the customs, unless it's their own product. I recommend Deringer or Jenson. To our company they are the most efficient. If you have any questions Jenson, I find is very helpfull. Good luck.

The car is currently in Victoria BC. I checked the list of brokers in Port Angles and Seattle and talked with two of them. Neither wanted to deal with a one time small order on one car. I have a call into a shipper that says they handle the customs and shipping for antique classic cars. The holiday is one more stumbling block to get thru but I'm hopeful I can get things lined up soon. I'm the type that wants to know what has to be done going into a project instead of waiting to see what happens. I'll check the suggestion, Grant and appreciate any other suggestions or help.

I replied to your pm about a carrier near Port Angeles that I have used. The ferry to our island continues on further west on one of their runs to Victoria BC, but it doesn't stop at Orcas on their return run. It lands in Friday Harbor (U.S.) and then on the mainland in Anacortes, Wa. I could do something in either of those places if it would help. Have you gone to BC yet?

You might want to call Pacific Customs Brokers 604-538-1566, they are on the Canadian side of the border at Blaine. Ask for Rob Petty, he is a hot rodder and can probably help you out.

It's a bust. Wood is shot- told it was in great shape but pics were unclear. Paint is bubbling in a lot of places but told no rust problems. Can't see them in pics. Shocks bad on left side. Tires don't match in sizes. Seats have two splits but are on seams so owner said they can be fixed with little effort. Brakes and exhaust good. Engine ran well. All window rubber shot. Chrome ok. Overall a project not a good shape driver like said it was multiple times. Amazing how all of the pics sent to me just happened to not show these areas. Oh well half the fun is the search. Have fun

That's too bad. It looked good in the pictures. I hope you at least enjoyed the trip.

Oh well, the hunt goes on?

Better to find out now, than 10 thousand dollars later and drop shipped to your driveway.

Dave, I spotted this one earlier but thought the one you were looking at was much nicer.... for the money, this one would be way ahead for you.

Wow, the rare 12-cylinder option! I love dealing with clueless dealers.

Joe I did see that one also but figured if they don't know a six from a twelve would they know rust from gold! ? There are a few more I am checking out one on west coast and two on east coast. Like I said the hunt is fun. Thanks to all for input.
