My Current 1956 Project

I am still a few weeks away from it being done. The shop is busy trying to complete it. It's a pretty nice truck. More rare than the usual f100's. I believe it had every option available. A custom cab, 2 tone paint, big window and 272 with Ford-o-matic trans. (Blue and white top were its original colors). Trying to keep original with a few small upgrades for performance and reliability. I will upgrade to Classic Industries gauges for a piece of mind. I have all the original engine parts too, but wanted a little more performance and easier on the eye when I popped the hood. I couldn't do yellow.

Looks great, running a white engine should make it easy to find leaks! I normally chicken out and use black paint, my engines never leak.

I too like a light colored engine to help
see it for leaks as well as working on it.
Try working on a black engine along side
the road at night with a flash light. Or a Bic
lighter if your lucky to even have that.

That white looks really sharp! I like it. You HAVE to show us more pictures as it gets finished up, and of course the completed photos!
