Big and Black is starting off with a positive reputation.
Drive Shaft Clunk 09 F250

I know there are threads and TSB's on this.
My truck developed this as the weather warmed up from winter to spring.

I read about the slip yoke and greased it with some valvoline moly grease I had laying around, fixed it for about a week.

I read more threads here and read that the lucas red and tacky #2 fixed somebody elses....I took it apart again, cleaned it up good and slobbered that stuff on...as soon as I backed it out of the driveway and took off it did it again. I was disqusted.

So I went to the ford dealer and bought the blue "smurf" grease that has teflon in it that ford designed for the fix.

Its been good for 5000 miles now, no more clunk....yet.

Just wanted to share my experience on my 2009 F250 4x4
