I'm coming out...

IT'S OFFICIAL!!!! I got this in the mail today, so I guess I'm finally out of the ARNG!!!!! For those that are somewhat confused I was regular Army for several years and got out. While waiting on the VA to make a decision on my rating I went ARNG as my part of a deal to get my little brother to join to keep him out of jail. I've been "med boarding" out of the ARNG for years now and it looks like I'm finally out!!!!!!!!!!!! No back-pay since I've been getting paid by the VA this whole time, but now I'm out of the Army (again) lol! No more soldering for me!

Looks like they kept it a secret for a few weeks.

Good to hear you are moving along in life.

Well congrats - I think? Not sure if that's a good thing or a hard thing for you - but guessing since you posted it up - "it's a good thing".

It's a VERY good thing Since I've been in the VA and in the ARNG I only get paid for one but get to go both (yes get, I love the Army). However the 1 weekend a month started taking a toll on my lifestyle as it's rather inconvenient and the 2 week a year was pointless for me because of my job. I ?was? in an MP unit but I'm in Aviation. I'm a Blackhawk Crew-chief and believe it or not there aren't a lot of aircraft for the MPs to train on On a side note the few 2 weeks I went to with them was amazing and by far eyeopening coming from an Aviation unit. Instead of flying around for 2 weeks I got to learn how to breach doors with shotguns, zip-cuff infidels, and shoot a 50cal a few times

I'm actually a 15 Tango, 15 Quebec. They changed most of the Aviation numbers awhile back to 15 series. my Quebec is Air Traffic Control, but I'm not medically able to ever do that again Maybe in Mexico though, does the FAA have jurisdiction there?

This is great advice. I entered a copy of mine in the county court house where I moved after I got out. I have also entered a copy where I currently live. They will always be available for me, and are certified master copies.

I'm not out yet but it seems like it'd be a PAIN IN THE *** to get a new one.
