ScanGuage II OBDII reader (original purchase date - 2008)
cable to connect reader to OBDII port
Instruction manual printed
Instructions manuals printed for X-Gauge programming

Thank you again! Sincerely, Doc

Haha--my family is 50/50 elephant/tiger--it's pretty comical.
My wife lived in fairhope back in the day.

I'm UA twice over.

Diesel

1. Lasts much longer. At least 2x
2. Torque
3. In a Ford, the 5.4 is just not enough and I haven't heard good things about it. The v10 is the sand engine with two more cylinders.

They are more expensive to repair and more expensive to front.

Until recent years, GM he the only option for towing in a gas engine.

Thanks for the input. Thanks again. My wife and I decided to go with this truck for several reasons. The only thing that will keep us from purchasing it is we are not willing to pay more than $14,000. Glad to report that there is nothing but good things to say about the truck as it was very well taken care of, & is very clean.
1-Never been chipped. 2-New oil cooler. 3-New Alternator(reman). 4-New Turbo (reman). 5-EGR deleted. 6-Radiator cooling system flushed. Replaced with gold fluid. 7-Great report from my buddy who is the mechanic. 8-Oil changed a week ago. 9-Fuel filters (both) replaced a week ago. 10-Replacing the front brakes for us. No cost to us. 11- Replacing the metal supports next to the shocks, due to bushing wear & a Klunk with each bump in the road. No cost to us.

The bad: It WAS NOT "bullet proofed with the APG? AP something bolts. But my buddy said that the head gasket is not leaking or never has. He said, "Fix it when it needs it. She's made it 156,000 miles thus far, don't mess with it." So that is sorta good....Right?

Y'all your input has been invaluable. Would really like to have all of your opinions. Thanks again! Doc

Thanks again for your kind words, info and help. Its very appreciated. Also, My son in law returns to the states tomorrow from Afghanistan. We are a very proud veteran family. Also serving was not a duty that I took lightly. Hated it at times when I was in. Now, I just miss the He!! out of the Corps, my buddies and the camaraderie. It takes a vet to know a vet. I wouldn't trade my experiences now. 18 years ago different story. Have a great evening! Doc

Congrats on the purchase. Don't worry about having head bolts and not studs. At 150kmiles, if don't be a problem unless you chip it.
