OT FREE tickets to Bills vs Jets game

Just thought I would mention this in case any members in the Detroit are were interested.
With the Buffalo snow storm forcing the game to be moved to Detroit, the Lions will be offering FREE General Admission tickets to the game.
The Lions started distributing tickets by email to Bills and Lions season ticket holders today. Starting at 10am on Saturday they go to the general public... go to Detroitlions.com.

If it works in Detroit like it did in Milwaukee, there will be a full house. A few years ago, baseball opened its season with snow issues in several cities - including Cleveland. A few Indian games were moved to Miller Park with $5 general admission tickets. It was a great success.

Hope that the same holds true for football fans in Motor City and Buffalo gets shoveled out soon.

Skalywag is starting off with a positive reputation.
With all the grief the people in Buffalo are dealing with, I can't believe that a football game holds to high of a priority. however, forget human suffering and pain, we gotta play football and make some money. God Bless America.

Well the decision to keep the game scheduled was not Buffalo's, only the NFL could make the call. The NFL actually still wanted to have the game in Buffalo, but the County Executive threatened to keep the travel ban in place until after the game, meaning the Jet, the NFL officials and the Fans would not have been able to get to the stadium. In fact the Bills have not been able to get to practice so far because of the travel bans in effect.
