So its been a while, a little update on the truck.

I got it running and driving, actually took it out on the road. About 10 miles down the street, I had a injector that "stuck" open, poured fuel into the cylinder and went into the oil pan. I got out on the main road, and was accelerating, noticed my oil pressure dropped so I pulled over and it reaked of fuel. It ruined the bottom end, now I have to replace the short block. This happened about 2 months ago, so its been sitting. Kinda lost my steam on the build, gotta muster up the funds and energy to pull the motor. I will get around to it someday...hopefully.

I would determine that the lower end was in fact ruined. If you shut it down in time, it may be OK. Drain and replace oil and new filter. Run engine and see how it runs. Unless obviously a problem, run oil analysis. Good luck with it.
Edit: This was just Ford's way of rejecting the transplant. JK
BTW, beautiful truck.

yeah, i've already diagnosed it. metal shavings everywhere. bearings are ruined. May save my pennies and go for a built bottom end, and eventually throw a centrifugal supercharger on it, the loudest one I can find.

Upon further close inspection, it looks like your tires are a bit taller and maybe even wider.

No that is not my truck. I have seen that in classic truck magazine before. It's a big back window truck with "peanut butter" interior. However it sure is pretty
