Seriously, though this is, without a doubt, the best way to go about this build. Get the foundation right and then you can build on that later on. You won't regret it.

That was my issue that every time I was under it the frame looked worse. The rear part mainly and there is some welding other places needed also. The bottom if the cab is nice but I want to keep it that way so I am going to paint it and do a bunch of internal cavity rust proofing as well. My main focus here is making sure my foundation is good for years to come.
Also rear fuel tank bottom is rusted out so 38g will be going in. Also the hodge podge dp will get remade in 4" with a tunnel job and stainless 5" system as cliff exh is on the grenade now.

 

I can see what you were talking about now from our phone conversation. Best to get it done now, then that way like everyone else has said here, you will be golden for many more years to come.
