O.K. here goes fellas.
I had clifford running last sunday night. It was running and I reved it a little and it started chuffing and running bad. I shut it off and checked a few things and when I went to start it it would not crank. Long story short #7 cylinder was hydro locked from fuel. After the previous mention,I called Travis in a bit of a panic. I had the injector out already at that point to make sure I didnt maybe cut an oring. That should not do what I was having but hey,I was in a panic.
After reinstalling and a quick hotwire of the fuel pump fuel rose from the glow plug hole. I jerked the injector out and boxed it up figuring on the worst.
After calling Rosewood Matt said to send it right in. After checking it they found a large enough piece of trash to hold the nozzle valve open. They got it figured out and sent out literally in about an hr. What great service those guys give even when its not anything but my stupidity I guess. I guess i need to be more careful of keeping everything cleaner. Its hard on these ol rattle traps.
He is all together and running as of about 1;30 today. Its still running not great and starting hard. The weather is crap, snowy, icy not conducive to big hp test drives. I guess these hybrids use so little oil that this bleeding is taking forever so far. Either way,its alive,Andrews tunes are loaded and now im just waiting for better weather again...
