New to FTE forum

Hello from Nova Scotia.
New to the forum but a long time Ford Vehicle owner. Currently have a 99 F150 4x4 and an 06 F150 2wd. Have been having ABS issues with both over the last few months and found answers to many questions as a guest on this forum. I decided to join and participate in the forum rather than just lurk.
As well as my trucks I have a 1964 Fairlane I will be restoring / upgrading over the next few years. I will be mixing and matching components from several years and models to make up the drivetrain. I hope to be able to draw on the experience and knowledge of fellow enthusiasts to help guide me in my choices.
I am currently in my early 60s and have been a mechanic by trade all my adult life. Mostly I work on heavy vehicles and off road equipment but have worked in automotive sector as well. Currently employed in the Alberta Oil Sands working on heavy equipment.
I plan to semi-retire within the next year and work part time closer to home. (The commute to work is brutal)
Here in NS salt in the air and road salt in winter takes its toll on our vehicles, reducing the life expectancy but it also creates opportunities for the mechanical trades coping with rusted and rotten parts.
My 99 F150 is an Alberta truck which has not been exposed to our salty environment. It is a std cab shortbox fleetside truck with no accidents or serious rust. It just turned over 300K KM 0n its 4.6L engine and still works perfectly. I plan to paint the truck, undercoat it and make mechanical repairs to keep the truck running for a long time yet. This process will probably see me on here frequently asking for advice, help and opinions.
I in turn will try to pass on any information or insights I may have acquired over a lifetime of mechanical repairs.
Regards,
Daryl
