1975 f250 np205 help please

I'm have a 75 f250 highboy and it had a divorced np203, I'm really wanting to install a np205, does anyone know if it will bolt right in using all the 203 brackets. I have noticed on case the way it bolts in looks a little deferent . Also does anyone know where I can find a np205 I'm in Sacramento California

Start hitting the pick n pulls around here. I have recently found 5 - 4x4's with no front axle between rancho and Sacramento pick n pull. I will guess and say the bracket is different and you'll need it.

'Picked an NP205 and its married NP435 about a month ago at PnP... bracketry is required but relatively easy to fabricate.

I've seen a few on CL recently too.

They were from 73-79. I'm sure a couple were divorced. Check there row 52 inventory, it will tell you what year they are with pictures.

I should've snagged one myself. I want a divorced np205 to rebuild as a spare.

I'm not understanding why you bought a married tranny and transfer case to swap to a np205. A divorced Ford 67-77 np 205 is a bolt up job. Converting to a married set up is a lot more trouble then it's worth. Including having a new front and rear drive shafts made, and fabbing the required crossmembers for the transfer case.

I couldn't find a divorced 205 the married 205 came with a good c6 for $300 so I couldn't pass it up I found out that I had to change the tranny mount Im not sure if I can leave the other mount that goes under the pan or if I need to take it out to clear the drive line

Greg,
Don't know if you are still thinking of staying with NP205 divorced after purchasing the married setup. I was just in CL Sacramento and saw that a guy in Vacaville had a NP 205 divorced for a ford F-250 for $350.00. It was a email contact only if you have any interest you might try contacting seller and resell the married setup.
