Hmmm, that site shows a way to view them on the truck, and you even have the info on the truck dialed in. But that view doesn't show up on this iPad. I'll try it on a real computer in a bit.

But I think these wheels come closer as they have the dark centers and shiny rims. But, they aren't all that close - just seemingly closer.

Gary, I'm more of a five spoke fan. And, this truck is more of a tribute than a clone.

So, all, which would be better for the tribute: a five spoke wheel or to get closer to the color scheme?

Bullit wheels were from American Racing, VN105 Torq-Thrust D's
Magnesium grey spokes.
American Racing - Wheels

But, five spokes = 5 lugs between them.

That's why I like the XD775's. They are a 5 spoke on the F250's 8 lug pattern. The center caps are screwed on so they won't fall off as well.

Just did some searching. If I ever buy any wheels, it will be THESE!

Edit: Sorry for the giant picture, not sure what happened.

I did some digging and I could only find this picture from FullSizeBronco.com. I don't know the member, as I haven't been over there for 10 years, but he has the all black Rockstar wheels.

Brick nose Bronco with XD775 wheels in black. From FSB forum.

They are American Racing AR23 series. Can get them in 16X7 for $395 off eBay with the center caps and free shipping. Someday!

Thanks for that. Tax returns are due soon, and the beast needs me shoes bad, so it may be sooner rather than later for me. Since they are clear coated, do you guys think it would be hard to paint the centers a dark grey?

It won't be hard to paint them, it is just a question of how well the paint will hold. I would expect them to be powder-coated, but you might want to clarify that, and I have never tried painting on top of my powder finishes.

Did some Googling and found lots of hits on "painting of powder coating". Zinzer says regular paint won't adhere to powder, but that their primer will - at which point you can coat that with regular paint. But you should do some research and maybe call American Racing. Who knows, they may already have them done that way or be willing to do it for you.

Theres a Jeep running around here with those rims he has the spare on the back but knocked out the chrome center star and mounted a LED brake light assembly behind it for a third brake light.

Theres also another customer that has these but its on his F250 that's lifted and hes running what we call the 5.56 Nato tires, they have cast into the side wall 5.56 Nato cartridges and headstamps. Pricy and heavy as hell.
