Water can't travel across a giant gap. (duct hole IN the firewall)

It looked real bad, so I may swap just because. I'm having a hard time tracking these damn leaks down.

I did an inspection on it just now. This is my report: no evidence of leaks from the heater core side of the connections. Still seem to have some around the block side. I'm not 100% sure if this is because the hose was not tight enough, or the fitting is jacked up. The later is NOT good. Secondly, I have pictures from the rear of the engine.

This is a picture of the puddle from the driver side. I tried to include the radius arm for location.

This was taken under the truck. It shows the coolant seeping from the bell housing.

I'm running out of ideas as to why these leaks are there and how to remedy them. It is almost looking like freeze plugs, but I run a 50/50 mix coolant.

I did double check the heads, and no evidence of leaks from them. Suggestions on what and how to check? I'm about ready to take it in for pressure testing. I want exhaust first.

Looks like coolant coming down the back of the engine, down the bell housing, and dropping off of the clutch cover. There are no coolant plugs in the back of the engine nor heads, so it looks like all that can be is a head gasket leak. Sorry. Hope I'm wrong, but....

Get a mirror and light and see if you can find a track from the back of the head/block join down. Or, go to the auto parts store and see if they have a dye to put in the coolant to find the leak via a black light.

Thing is that I managed to get a light and mirror back there and saw nothing. Weird. Seems to be passenger side this time. Last time I actually saw the trail from the driver side head. No evidence of seepage from the head, and it drips while not running.

Time to get the dye or a leak-detection kit and find out where it is coming from.

How about your radiator/connections?
The fan can easily blow stuff back over the engine.

What fitting do you suspect?

I suspect the 3/4 dia fitting on the block is seeping. The leak from the trans has me stumped.

I have a hard time seeing how that is going to get to the rear of the engine.

Yeah, that's why I'm confounded by this leak. I had a major leak when the old head bolts stretched. It would pour when it ran, but that's it. This is a constant leak.

[update]: I rechecked with a mirror and light again. I saw what appeared to be a trail from the EXACT SAME SPOT as before! I don't like what this implies. One of three possibilities arise: the PO did a head gasket job and botched it by marring the back of the head, or my second set of head gaskets have failed after about 10 miles, or the head cracked on install. It's a small leak, no more that 1/4 of discolored paint. Why is this crap happening to me?

Bummer. Bruno is fighting a similar head gasket problem. Did you have the heads checked for flatness?

Update: I know it's been a while, but before I go hog wild chasing the leak, which seems to have subsided a bit, I'm having exhaust installed so I can hear myself think while I work. I checked my pay stub, and I'm getting enough extra this check to get it done. And buy new uniforms too.

Wheels opinion

So here are the wheels I am looking at for the Beast:
KMC XD775 Rockstar wheels in machined and black

After looking around a lot, these are about the only five spoke wheels I can find for the F250 bolt circle. Do you guys think these will be appropriate for a Bullit tribute truck?

I'm not sure I do think they fit with the theme. McQueen's Mustang had what look to be dark centered Halibrands. But those aren't available for your bolt pattern?

My problem is that I can't visualize the wheels you mentioned on your truck. Can you find them on a site that lets you select a vehicle to put them on?
