Gull Wings?

I am looking to buy Gull Wings for my 1955 F100. Any ideas on where I can find them? All the places I have found on the internet list them as out of stock?

Help a brother out!

I've got a pair of originals with a little pitting. No one is reproducing them anymore as far as I know.

Doesn't Mid- fifties have them? Haven't checked their latest catalog, but they
sure used to carry them.

They used to, but all they have now is a waiting list with no dates in place. My paper catalog says 175 for the pair. I'm selling the whole grille for much less than that. Shipping is just the only major cost factor here.

Thanks! Turns out there's a station in Moorhead. Didn't know it was there until I looked it up online. I've heard of using Greyhound but didn't know there was anything local.

A buddy of mine has a 55 and wanted a new set of "gull wings" for his grille...we always called them "hockey sticks", whatever. Dennis Carpenter carries them but they are out of stock right now: Grille Moulding | Dennis Carpenter Ford Restoration Parts I think that he found a set from another vendor, with specialty items such as this there is only one source and all the retailers use it. These are pot metal items, it would be nice to see someone make some out of stainless steel.

Another method for shipping would be Fastenall, never used them myself but heard it is reasonable and fairly quick. I have received a snowmobile hood via greyhound though.

Are you sure they're pot metal? The pair I've got appear to be stamped steel. I have no idea how to check. They don't look cast, however, I've never taken them off the grille..

Does a magnet stick to them? I don't think it will stick to pot metal.
