my very first Ford......really
Hello All,
I have just purchased my first ever Ford (sort of) I have owned mainly jeeps, which are sort of half Ford. Joking..
Anyway I now own a 2002 Excursion 5.4L 4x4........And of course it has a few issues....... and I need to learn how to deal with them.
I am a retired tool and die maker with a few gray whiskers. I look forward to reading and maybe even making a few new friends here......

itselliot,
I also bought an '02 Excursion last month. So far I've replaced two tires, shocks and struts, battery and relocated the spare to a Thule basket I mounted on the roof. Next, I have to replace the exhaust, and I'd really like to get some high quality rubber floor mats (especially with the muddy winter on the way). Other than some maintenance things, I've absolutely loved my Excursion. The funny thing is I only have 2 kids, so it is way overkill.
