F250-E4OD problem

HI I just joined this due to ; 1992 f250 7.3 w/Banks turbo -Tranny ISSUE--
E4OD problems are ; (recently purchased w/ this problem)
*O/D light flashes in park- and appears does not cancel O/D driving
*When I got it- very brutal shifts -trans ran cool though...
*Then one day it began shifting as normal.. BUT noticed on the highway longer drives - the trans temp gauge going up - to the edge of red..
*When near hot(stopped)- would not move ahead until it was revved up
*Changed fluid and filter(add Lucas too) and it looked fairly clean- no metal very minimal fine particulate, did find a 10mm nut from stud in pan so put it back on (not sure what it was for but stud spins) not see any way to bolt filter- assume it friction fits?
* Back on the road - after 30-mins driving and tranny working nice - TEMP goes up again - to same area b4 hot (red zone)
*fluid is full and prior was not bad smelling - this tranny had been rebuilt not long ago - and these issues began after that...
** ? Is this the 'trans Control Module' OR previous codes from old issues of worn out tranny??
I have no way to get this rig into the city, nor the cash to put into someone else scratching their head for 3 hours.
(have not looked @ brake lights-hear that may be related somehow- huh!?)
Thanks in advance !

The first thing to do is to read the codes. THIS will show you how to read the codes.
