I recently had lunch with a friend who has a late model F150 with the turbocharged Ecobost six cylinder. We were discussing his truck and I guess he could tell I was not impressed that he bought a six. So when we left [we were in his truck] he had to show me what it would do. Good thing he has the Wilwood disc brakes on it. I had NO idea. Very impressive.

I still haven't been convinced about the ecoboost in a truck yet. I've heard nightmare stories about the longevity in a truck, no one I or my dad knows has made it to 100k without major engine troubles..
EDIT: I should add that longevity is much less of a concern on a classic that likely isn't going to be driven as hard, as often, pulling, etc. And I overall think an ecoboost is a good option for a non-heavy use truck.

I caught the teaser for this a couple weeks back and thought it would be a great idea if one had the money. We have a Lincoln mks,awd with the 3.5 ecoboost and the thing is a beast in stock form, even with the Lincoln being 4400 lbs. There are companies out there selling tunes for them upping the hp and changing the shift points making it a 12 sec. car. Would be lots of fun in a 2wd f100!

Look into Livernois Motorsports... They have been doing EB mods on Manufacture plated cars since the EB was new.
There is a video of an AWD Flex with over 600 HP that does something like 11s in the 1/4. That's impressive for a giant truck. The SHO is VERY fast. I would do a tuner but I might wait til warranty is over lol

After seeing the tunes they offered awhile back I wanted to buy one pretty bad. But ultimately the car is still under warranty and voiding that would just be silly. Also its my wifes car she drives to and from work and lets just say she doesn't need any extra power.
If your wipers stop working and you have a tune your wiper issue would still be fully covered
