stuck in SNOW storm need help...
My 4wd went out in my 2011 Superduty, the light comes on, i can feel an engagement but then I get check 4wd light on the dash. I stopped to look in the fuse box for a blown fuse but there is no panel cover there.... Im trying to locate this fuse so I can stop to the store real quick on my way home. Please do not flame me for not searching, but Im on my cell phone as we speak...

So didja get it to work? Do you have ESOF (Electronic Shift-On-the-Fly) or the man pull lever on the floor? Gasser or Diesel?
Try backing up sometimes they are finicky engaging.
Lets assume ESOF. Check the vacuum lines down to the hubs on the front axle. When you move the switch from 2 to 4wd you said you feel engagement? Can you hear the motor switching on the transfer case? I think if one or both of the hubs doesnt lock in it will flash the 4wd light. Dirt, debris or water(frozen) in the hub wont help either. When you manually lock the hubs how does the auto/manual switch on the hub feel? Easy to turn or not?
You can have the hubs manually locked in but if the transfer case doesn't shift you still wont have engine power to the front dif. Jack up the front end and manually lock in the hubs. Do both of the axles spin? Hold on to the axle and see if its truly locked in.
Read the manual too.

Can't do aftermarket with the newer style hubs. Plus why change the hubs? That is not the issue. They manually operate if desired already.
