#1 - Based on Longevity/ May be old news
I've now lost the link but earlier this evening I came across an article where they rated the top 20 vehicles by longevity. They based it on the percentage of specific models that are still on the road after reaching 200K miles. While I expected to see Hondas and Toyotas topping the list that was not the case.
#2 was the GM/Chevy 2500
#1 was the F250, with something like 4.3% still on the road.
Guess I've got some driving to do (182K) if I'm gonna join that group.
The 3500, nor the F350, were mentioned.

I found a similar story, but not the same article that I read; and its' number for the F250 is 4.2%. Close enough for this foggy grandpas mind.

No point in buying a new vehicle if the old one still gets the job done . My bronco has 250k miles on it and I've driven it all over the country in some pretty bad conditions and it has never left me stranded. Hopefully my sd turns out to be just as reliable.
