Any tricks to free up froze smog pump?
Started up the plow truck the other day and the smog pump is frozen. Its not needed besides for being an idler for the belt. It doesn't look like a reroute of a shorter belt is possible with the setup. The air hose to the pump runs up to the passenger wheel well, can I just dump some oil down the air tube to lube the pump and then try to work it free? I was able to half **** get a pry bar on two of the three bolts in the pulley and try to turn it over but it wouldn't move and I couldn't get a good hold on the bolt heads with the pry bar. I can try to get in there with a strap wrench and try that too. Any tips?
This is on a 88 F250 with a 351.

I did do a bypass on our 95 with 351 and that was the first thing I looked at with this plow truck but it didn't look possible. The way the tensioner was the belt couldn't have a clear path.
I don't want to take it all apart, I'd rather beat on it with a hammer and smash it before actually working on it. lol
I haven't had a chance to play with it yet. I think I will start with dumping some oil down the tube and wait, then beat on it some to see if it will turn.

While there is merit to doing as suggested it is almost free to remove the air pump then measure the new belt required. On the other hand asking for an OTS belt is easier to do.

I'm not an expert so the above advice is worth exactly what you paid for it.
