20 Degrees And The Fan Is Running???
So first let me start by saying a brand new fan clutch assembly was put in back in July as the OE finally died. It seems the fan will not stop running now? Even at 5am and 20 Degrees outside at start up and the fan runs the whole time.... I unplugged the fan harness at top of the shroud curious if it would stop. It didn't, it's still running constantly even at idle. Per my Scan Gauge Delta is only 6 degrees apart goin down the highway on average, however my water temps stay rather cold, to the point just idling the heater never gets very warm. And of course the fan is still blowing even though the engine is cold. No other issues to speak of. Any advice? Greatly appreciate any help. Thanks!

With the fan commanded at 0% on it will still turn.
The down side about pulling that plug is you no longer
have the fan speed sensor to tell you it's speed.
Set you SGII so it will read the fan speed. Then if the
fan is going hard. (I don't like to unplug things under power)
Turn the truck off and unplug the fan. Restart and see if it is
moving the same amount of air or not. When that fan is on high
there will a roar. If the roar goes away after you unplug it then
there is some reason for it to be commanded on to a HIGHER %
