Like I said above, let us know how much will be covered. Why? We have painted exterior side walls on ours and I, like others, really would like them protected, especially in our case since the nose cap wasn't - it was some vendor's cruddy colored gel coat - and Keystone had to paint it under warranty (it took 3 weeks) to match the rest of the camper.

OK, today was the day for the install of the Shrink wrap of my Arctic Fox. They got started about 1:15 and finished about 4:30. If I hadn't had been out there taking photos and asking questions it would not have taken that long! Here is the slide show of the install - hopefully in the same sequence of the install. In the last two photos you can see him installing the vents in the top of the RV. They put 4 in..2 on each side.

very interesting. I would have thought they would go down further on the sides but I guess then they would have to piece it together.

I agree... It does look like it will do a proper job of protecting it from snow and ice...

Yeah... I kinda thought it would have gone further down the side too but it would have been too difficult to give me the ability to move the trailer.... needed to reach the landing gear switches. But as you both said...it's protected. Unwrapping in the spring will tell the story. Still looks pret darn good for being the first one they have done...or even HEARD of being done! The guy that did all the work said he is now going to go home and wrap his 32' tag along trailer!

That looks like a pretty decent job of covering your trailer, I suspect that you wont have any problem in the spring and everything will look just fine. Hopefully you will dig this thread out and let us know. Also, next fall, kinda curious if his price will stay about the same.

Our 5er - it has 6-8 inches of snow on it and I didn't get the cover recentered after the material relaxed some, the straps loosened and the wind moved it in the front. Unfortunately my driveway is situated so the trailer faces directly into the prevailing wind

I'll dig it out for sure.

Another reason for NOT getting another cover. My wind hits directly off the curb side rear corner! That really gets the cover to billowing. ... and tearing and etc etc etc!

Being a dozen years younger than you - I can attest that even at my age, I am being much more careful than when I was even in my 40's and 50's... I just don't heal as fast as I used to and I am not at all enamoured with the notion of my wife having to take care of her invalid husband...
You just got the tip of my hat Bud...
Just an FYI. Look here and scroll down for shrink wrapping in your area. Maybe for NEXT year?

Hi Bud,

Well I will certainly keep it in mind if I somehow get trapped up here in the hinterland again next year.. My current plans are to have me and the missus in that toy hauler down in AZ for the winters going forward...
I appreciate the link though - I may have them shrink-wrap the HOUSE!!!! LOL..
