extreme oil leak?

Hey guys.
I got a 351w that burns oil like a son of a gun. less when its cold but nobody can see when they drive behind me kind of like a ghetto 4x4 james bond. Also, raw, un-burnt oil can be found dripping out of a hole in the exhaust pipe.
Either this is the worst broken valve seal in the world or im looking at catastrophic failure. what can you guys tell me! any help would be much appreciated.

Probably a broken piston and you may not be far away from a catastrophic engine failure, better get replacement ASAP.

I would do a compression test first. All the cylinders should be within about 5 psi to 10 at the most. If you have 7 cylinders at 140 and one at 50 that's the one with broken rings most likely. If you have one that's low it would have to be missing on that cylinder as well so it would run rough. Good chance the cylinder wall is badly scored as well so I would look for a replacement motor soon.
