V/B spring swap..questions?
I work at a ford dealership in detroit, im looking into doing a v/b code swap, and just had some questions. my current stock excursion springs are completely shot. so i need new ones so might as well do the swap. do i need to order or get anything other than the v code springs, and the b code springs, new u-bolts, and modify the b code springs? i do not need shackles or anything to have the ex sit level when im done..? just making sure before i get involved. have viewed many topics on here about it and just want a definitive answer...haha. 2005 excursion, v10. i actually wanted to go with the X's in front, but i dont know how to make those level in back. if anyone can help me out with the info that would be great! thank you.
also, id still like to do X's up front but i want the rear level...no rake

DRW C are pretty cheap, I chose SRW for my truck. Let me know if you have any questions.

V's with a 2" hangar, B-mod rear. Rides and handles way better than stock, especially over wallowing whoops and whatnot. Clears 35's, right around 3.75 - 4" of lift but I never measured anything. Sits completely level straight across.
First pic is literally minutes after finishing the swap, second pic is a year later and over 45,000 miles with a good amount of off-road beatings and a few jumps. How it's still in one piece is honestly beyond me sometimes.

I forgot to mention that I have new F250/350 u bolts and blocks that I didn't need. I live in Flat Rock and work in Dearborn if you're interested. I also saved my original springs but I didn't need to "mod" my new springs. Email if you like, rross455@comcast.net
I also created a spreadsheet with all available springs and it calculates the differences between them for a given load. I sent it to Stewart_H but I don't think he ever read it...or forgot.

The actual brand of the hangar kit and trackbar is Icon.
