2-Stroke Oil

2-Stroke Oil
I recently replaced my 2-stroke outboard with a 4-stroke, and I have about 8 gallons of 2-stroke oil in my garage. It's Evinrude XD-100. Should I consider using it as an additive? I know some guys use 2-stroke oil as an additive, but wasn't sure if it's widely-acceptable. I'd also like to know if anyone has an opinion on this particular oil.

I have been adding two stroke to my 7.3 since I bought it and in
a Toyota Landcruiser since fitting a new engine, the Toyota has
done 150,000kms, (93,750 miles) with the new engine.
It does what the BMW and Mercedes-Benz research I read claims
and I have had no problems with it.
Two things my research turned up are:-
1) Only use mineral based 2 stroke oil, never synthetic.
The synthetic seperates out in the tank if you leave it sit to long.
2) The optimum ratio is 200 to 1, thats 5mls of 2 stroke per litre of fuel.
You can do the conversion to oz and gals.
