Does anyone know who made this HB steering conversion kit? (pic)

I stole this from a post dating 10 years back. Both the guys who installed them got them on Ebay but haven't posted since 2005 and do not have a contact info. Found a $1400 setup from Benchworks. Any other kits? Thanks

With a little work you can assemble that kit for couple hundred bucks.

I don't recommend a benchworks converstion. No matter what I did the bolts would work loose in a few hundred miles. If you really want one I have one with less then 2000 miles on it.

No idea on the kit.

As far as a loosening bolt suggestion, or how to stop it. You can get aircraft grade hardware with safety wire holes already in them, and do the trick co425 did to his bolts.

FYI he drilled his own bolts heads to save $ on hardware, and he has that ability, so I understand that completely.

Nordlock makes a great lock washer for lots of applications. http://www.nord-lock.com/#

If you can not cotter pin the nut, loc-tite and safety wire the bolt head. If that wire trick seems like to much, they sale a cable gun with crimp ends that is way easier.

Safety wiring takes me right back to my USAF days. Something really calming about it to me.
