Well that sucks, guess I could call the shop that did the work and see if they kept in touch with him.

Checked the Face Book page and their website. No mention of a kit for the F-250 or that they ever even tried.
Something must have gone wrong.

I sent the shop a message on Facebook about the truck. I'll post if they respond.

Are those K&N filters or a different brand? Wet or dry?

To say this has been an adventure would be an understatement... I would not recommend going this direction unless you are prepared financially and mentally.

Under Pressure Power and Performance (UPP) are criminals, Casey Field (CK) is not trustworthy nor reputable. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

The truck is now with Livernois Motorsports and I'm exploring options (one of them is to sell it...)

So - what happened to the truck? I presume that the engine blew, but it would be good to know if it was something else or where the weak points are....

I'm guessing it went boom.

Livernois says on their website the stock bottom end is pretty much only good up to 450hp.

Does it say crank or wheel hp? Big difference. If it's crank, I don't buy that one bit. And there are a lot of variables to wheel horsepower.

450 seems a bit low for the flywheel? These motors are pretty stout.

I found it, big difference between "good to" and "rated to", a sells pitch. If the highest factory output you have is 411hp, why do you need to rate it for more?Name: photo571.jpg

Ask Livernois for clarification if you'd like.

It would still be interesting to hear what happened either way.

Is the 450 flywheel or rear wheels. I'm thinking it's flywheel?

Sorry to see he twin-turbo project didn't pan out.

Quite certain the 450 h.p. rating would be flywheel. That would be perfectly adequate for the 6.2L's intended applications, remember this is a truck engine, not a high performance engine. Not to say the basic design does not have the potential for more, but that is where the aftermarket comes in.
