1. I have 2 fuses under dash that are stuck; trick to remove????

2. want to buy a cheap scanner; since I am not a tech or pro won't a $40(ebay or walmart) work for pulling codes & removing them???

1. Pliers and prayer (that you don't break anything).

2. If all you want to do is read and erase codes, a cheap reader will do that but nothing more.

thanks for the quick reply;

1. tried needle nose pliers yesterday; gently & wiggling etc; no luck ; the front clear medium size fuse doesn't show to be blown
maybe leave well enough alone but if they got hot enough to melt or "weld" their selves then they should be bad

2. if I upgrade to the $70-100 scanner what will I accomplish?

If all you want is to read or remove codes then just about any advance auto or AutoZone will do that for you for free.

I guess it varies by state. I always got mine checked and removed at advance, so I figured they all did it.
