where to buy an oil temp pigtail

Hey guys. I'm having a tough time finding an oil temperature sensor pigtail. It's the same as the coolant temp. I had some bare wires on mine and I've already cut it off.

Can someone point me in the right direction? I don't know that ford carries one .... at least the dealer said they didn't. I've had one shipped to me only to discover it don't fit.

Thanks
Bryan

Alliant Power Part# AP0056
GM part number 88953310 will work great if you break a tab off (I think these are available in the Auto Part stores - for perhaps a quicker/cheaper solution)

Edit -

sorry Money-Pit .. I didn't see that you had already posted the AP part #

Mark,

Do I need to break that tab off of the pigtail, or the sensor connection. I'm willing to break it off the pigtail.

Here is a pic of the GM connector (OReilly's)

ACDelco PT1529 - Connector | O'Reilly Auto Parts

I have not used it myself, but was told about it. You might take the sensor to OReilly's and get a 1st hand look.

If you can wait it looks cheaper for the AP connector.

OOPS
Here is the right one.
Same guy that Ron uses

I had my pressure one come apart and was in a hurry when I posted this one.
No real excuse for that mixup. Anyway check this seller out for his other 6.0L
connectors. He has quite a lot to pick from. Also one that he has is this little goodie.

Would come in handy for watching ICP voltage.

Anyway sorry about the mix up.

Reps to you Sean (next time I can).

Bryan - sorry the GM connector didn't work out. That option was identified a long time ago (before the AP or Ebay connector options were available). Now we have a better solution!

Wished I'd waited 10 more minutes before ordering. I would have saved $15 by following Sean's link. I'll keep that seller in mind. I did an eBay search and came up empty before posting on fte.
