Gas Evaporation From A Holly 1904 Float Bowl

Does anyone know how to keep the gas from evaporating from the float bowl of a Holly 1904 carb? I don't see any evidence of a leak but after several weeks of none use the gas is gone. The bowl has a glass cover so it is very easy to keep track of the gas level. I don't think the gas should evaporate or leak out that fast. Any thoughts?

Modern gasoline isn't like the stuff from years ago. Not sure there's anything to be done about it?

"Several weeks" I would consider normal. If leaking down overnite, then I would suspect an internal crack leaking into intake. Having the glass bowl just makes it more evident.

If it leaks down after "several weeks" just make sure to drive it once every week and you'll be fine! Now you have a REASON to drive it once a week

If you are letting it sit long enough for the gas to evaporate, which is normal, you probably should put Sta-Bil (or equivalent) in your gas.

What Kevin said INO, one of the worst things we can do to any vehicle is "let it set".
Drive it or prep it for storage.

Mine does the same thing. Takes some cranking to start the first time then good to go.
