I really considered the black/silver, but I finally decided on solid black.

How much POR 15 and Tractor paint did you go through on the Chassis? It looks like you just did the area under the bed. Will you be going back and doing the rest of the chassis under the cab?

I almost used a full quart of POR-15, and about 1/2 a quart of the Valspar.

And yes I only painted the frame under the bed, and inside of both bumpers for right now. But I will coat the rest of the frame before winter.

Just found out that my front gas tank is leaking.
Just one more thing to add to the list of repairs.

You're going to have to give those tires some shine to keep up with the paint! Looks real good.

Nice! The headlight swap and new grille are a huge improvement. Where did you find the headlight bezels?

Thanks, I'm really happy with how it turned out.

I actually got the bezels from a member on this forum. He knew that I was looking for some, and he had a brand new set still in the original boxes that he was not using.

Is it just me or did they not paint under the cowl?

To me, even as much as I dislike red, I like the old two tone better. But thats just me. Guess I am showing my age

I'm pretty sure they did paint under the cowl, I was out of town for a week so I didn't really get to see any progress for awhile.

I really thought about staying with two-tone, but it definitely would have been a different color combo.
I've looked through ALOT of pics of these trucks in pretty much every color combo, but the black always caught my eye.

I'm probably going to put the body side moulding back on, and maybe the fender trim (If I can get over Ford's price for them)
