Got both of my fuel filler necks in today, the one for the rear tank looks right. But I think they sent me the wrong one for the front tank.
The truck is not close by to compare them, but it just doesn't look right to me.

Rear Tank

Front Tank

What did you end up deciding for paint? I have always really liked the red and white on the OBS trucks. Looking forward to getting mine home this weekend and start looking over it more closely to make my own list.

The front one looks like a cab-n-chassis filler neck

It's going to be painted gloss black, personally I've never really liked red trucks, and mine has just a little too much red for my tastes

Made it over to the body shop today and installed the rear fuel filler neck (sending the front one back on Monday). The bed and tailgate are now painted. They also changed the RR spring hanger, and got the rad support installed.

And I snapped a few pics while I was there.

Looking good. I guess you are not painting the radiator support?

I dont think they were planning on painting it, since the truck will be black anyway.

That is STRICTLY primer to keep it from flash rusting during shipping. It will be all rust in a year if you don't paint it.
Your body guy should know better

I'll have to talk to them, we didn't really discuss it.

Good catch Brad. That bed is looking real good. Love the sexy black. It'll be tough to keep clean, but boy will it look good when it is.

The new fuel filler neck came today, and it looks like I got the right one this time.

I put new one's on my 96 last year. Couldn't put gas in without blow-back on me.

Went over to the shop to check out the truck today, and they got it painted.

Should start re-assembling the truck on Monday, and hopefully get it back on the road soon.

These cell phone pics do not do it justice, that paint looks like a mirror in person.

Black & silver two tone is awesome!
