I don't remember exactly what they were. But I can get you some measurements tomorrow.
Thanks

I have a very similar truck, bone stock for the most part. Not rusted as it is from Idaho. I work overseas and only visit the truck once a year. My wife says the front tank has a fuel leaks only while filling. Can you change the filler neck with the bed still on? Here is my truck. I have since scrapped the topper and Linex'd the bed. 460 with the E4OD and Dana 50. Runs like a beast. I totally rebuilt the front axle and may replace the steering box as it has very sensitive steering. Sorry to hijack you here. Art

You could make it a little longer than the 52", but I wanted leave room to operate the seat latch with hitting my knuckles on it.
You cannot go anymore then 7" wide if you want to have the seat all the way back. But if you don't need the legroom, then you can make it wider.
You could probably change the upper steel part of the filler neck, but I don't think you can get to the top of the gas tank to disconnect the rubber hose without pulling the tank. Or removing the bed.

The outside dimensions are: 52"L X 7"W X 4 1/2"H

I will have mama fill the tank again and see if it leaks while filling. I may just replace, tank, pump and filler neck. Although I haven't seen any rust on the truck, 18 years is a good run for a component and the truck does sit long periods. They are cheap enough that I don't want to scrimp or take chances on parts. The truck's only job now is only for pulling horses and runs for stuff you can't fit in the grocery getter.

Nice build on the truck!
Curious what you paid to have the Line X liner done? (If you'd rather PM that's fine.) I just picked up a '97 that's never had anything in the bed, and I'd like to have a spray in liner done before I scratch it.
As much as I like the two tone paint schemes available on these trucks originally, I also appreciate the cleanliness of a solid color. If anything maybe a pin stripe to break it up. The truck I just picked up is all white, and I am currently contemplating my options.
Again, nice job, and keep up the great work.

When I had the Line-X sprayed, I chose the Premium package, which is supposed to be a little more durable and also more UV resistant, than the standard package. Mainly because I work in construction and often have concrete blocks, lumber, and tools in the bed. Ended up costing me $650, and I had the truck back in a few hours.
And I have considered doing a pin stripe down the side, and maybe even some kind of hand painted design around the tailgate handle, but I'm not sure yet. Plus I don't know anybody that can do pin stripe painting around here.
