I am getting a steering squeak from under the front of the truck (2011 -F250, 6.7). With the vehicle either in park or rolling if you turn the steering wheel back and forth in either direction there is a load squeaking noise for the entire rotation of the steering wheel. It does not come from the wheels on the pavement but appears to come more from the left side and right side wheel assembly area.

This recently started after several weeks of light duty off roading for hunting in wet and muddy conditions. The wheels and bearings were never submerged but were certainly splashed with mud/water. Any ideas?

 

Take a hose and make sure that there is no mud or dirt hanging around the calipers is all I can think of.

 

How many miles do you have on it, Ericwlod? If you're still hearing the squeak, it might be worthwhile to get your dealership involved. Either way, keep us posted.
