That looks like the bridge down by Cairo, IL that runs in north of Paducah, KY. That's one scary bridge. It looks like your trip is going well. My truck seems to be OK, but I'm on the fence about driving it to Truckstock.

When are you planning on arriving?

I've got a medical procedure on Friday that I couldn't reschedule (please don't ask for details... you don't want to know!). We'll be heading out early Saturday morning and hope to get there around 8am Central Time.

We'll be there around check-in time. Hey Joe (or anybody else if you remember), what is the "2014" rate we should be paying for the cabins? I wouldn't want them to "accidentally" charge me the higher price.....

Shane, My cabin confirmation shows the rate of $110. per night. Edit: Additional fees and taxes run the price for four nights to a total of $540.

We should be rolling in there late this afternoon.

The rate is $110 per night and an extra $10 for Friday and Saturday nights + tax

NOTE: Everyone please be careful in the park, the deer are plentiful!

Is the cell signal strong enough to set up a personal hot spot with a phone?

Well, the truck did great on my last shake-down run, so it looks like I'm all set to convoy in with Eric on Saturday morning. EffieTrucker(Ken) is going to let me have the other half of his cabin Saturday night, so I'm ready to hang out with all of you again. I just spent the last 2 hours washing the truck and getting it ready for the trip. Woo hoo!

That will work. It will be a little slow, but it's better than going all the way to the Inn to get WiFi.

It's late and I'm beat. I think I'll wait and leave very early in the morning. It will be more enjoyable than driving 4.5 hours dead tired.

I'll see you guys in the morning.
